A large part of our time in the Philippines was spent with the indigenous Agta tribe of General Nakar, Quezon City. Our stay with the village was split into two parts. The first eight days were spent in Sentrong Paalaran ng mga Agta (SPA), a school specially for the education of the children of the tribe, and the remaining five in Matalunglan, a coastal settlement of the same tribe a distance away from the school.
